Non-conformance cases over the running floor: an NCR opens on a work order, lot, SKU or bin, can quarantine the suspect stock through the existing hold engine (held stock starves consumption and picking until released), records its investigation and actions (scrap and rework land through the work-order quantity door), and closes only once its quarantine is explicitly released. Inspection plans are configuration — a matching operation completion or finished-goods receipt fires an inspection task on the universal queue, and a failed result opens a case automatically.
